Presents for extraordinary kids living with HIV

Inspired by a picture of a pediatric hospital unit the Positive Heroes team called for donations and quickly received more than 60 donated toys from Class 2 at The Waldorf School in Constantia.
Helping KidzPositive

On December 12th, a Christmas party was organised at the Mitchells Plain Community Clinic by Kidzpositive. Children aged 2-15 attended.

Positive Hero, Brett Anderson gave an eloquent and moving account of his experience of living positively with HIV and challenged the children to create their own futures. He spoke about the importance of ARVs, having a positive outlook, adopting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition.

The kids were treated to snacks by the clinic staff and then selected toys from the generous donation box.

We are deeply grateful to all the kind people who made this event possible.
