Positive Heroes receives hundreds of emails and letters a month; these are requests for help, information, support and human contact from people either newly diagnosed with HIV or confronting some of the struggles of living with the virus. We answer every request individually. And sometimes that involves one of our Heroes calling, “just for a chat”. Speaking with someone in a similar position can make life or death difference to a person who is feeling isolated and afraid. Cell C understand the importance of communication! They have generously supplied Positive Heroes with 2 Blackberries and 11 Cell C phones equipped with monthly airtime – so that our Heroes can make those calls.
